Twelve years ago (2004), the Texas Diversity Council launched the first Women in Leadership Symposium in San Antonio, TX. The event was well attended with the panel session format geared toward the discussion of topics facing women as they seek and achieved higher positions within the organizations. Today, we are proud to continue this momentum as we begin our 12th Annual Women in Leadership Symposiums across the state of Texas. This year's theme is "Secure Your Place at the Table". Each symposium will include a panel of senior level executive women who have successfully paved their way to leadership positions. Conversations will delve into what it takes to succeed as leaders as well as how your organizations can support your efforts.

Due to the success of the Texas area Women in Leadership Symposium, the National Diversity Council launched the National Women in Leadership Symposium, where today, has grown to reach thousands of women not just across the nation, but internationally as well.
