Born a USO/Military brat in Alexandria Louisiana , in the vicinity of Fort Polk, Deborah spent her early years traveling. The family traversed from Louisiana to Texas to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and eventually settled in Odessa Texas where she graduated from High school. Deborah attended Texas Woman’s University and graduated with both a degree in Speech and most recently an MBA.
Ms. Peoples joined the AT&T family in 1977 and has enjoyed assignments in both business and consumer marketing in both Texas and California .
She currently serves as Vice-President-General Manager of the Dallas/Fort Worth Market areas that includes the Waco/Temple area and the Longview/Tyler area. In her spare time she is a member of Community Network, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Dallas Chapter of HACEMOS, The Professional Women of SBC, and Black Women Lawyers of Tarrant County among other social and service organizations. She was recently elected to the Board of the Dallas Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Deborah has a passion for art with a special love of African and African American art and sculpture. If she’s not at work or spending time with her two daughters the next logical place is the nearest gallery or a museum.
